What’s with the Giant Orange Balloon by the 5 and 133 Freeways?

As some outside the industry may not be aware Orange County is going to be the recipient of one of the largest public parks in history…dwarfing even New York’s Central Park and San Diego’s Balboa Park.  After 5 years of design, construction is about to begin on nearly 1,400 acres of land at the old El Toro Marine Corps Air Station. Below is the design for the park (per the LA Times).  Very exciting, award winning, and history making project in our own backyards.
